If you’re like me and wish you were born with Kardashian hair, or you’re sick of spending money on over-priced extensions… There is hope!

I am NOT a medical professional, but in my own experience I’ve found that taking prenatal vitamins is a great way to help hair and nails grow stronger AND more quickly. My favorite prenatal multivitamin is made by “Garden of Life”. These vitamins are organic and easy to digest since they are made from whole foods.

NOTE: Always check with your doctor before adding new supplements to your diet. If you have low levels of calcium you will most likely need an additional calcium supplement. Reason being, the levels of calcium are lower in prenatal vitamins than in a normal daily vitamin. Also, most prenatal vitamins contain more iron than most non-pregnant women need. Too much iron can cause nausea, vomiting & constipation (glamorous I know), so please watch for these signs if taking prenatal vitamins before you have a baby in your belly. I personally need lots of iron in my diet because I’m anemic, prenatal vitamins have been wonderful because they help me bruise less easily. I’m a fan of prenatal vitamins for many reasons.

Hope your experience with these vitamins is a positive as mine.
