Low-Fat Spinach Dip

FullSizeRenderThis low-fat spinach dip is gauranteed to knock your socks off, and it won’t bust the zipper off your pants after consumption. My Mom taught me this recipe years ago and people go crazy for it every time I bring it to a party, BBQ or Superbowl gathering. Want to know our valuable “family secret”? It’s the recipe on the back of Knorr’s vegetable dip packets. Shocking, but true. Not only is it delicious, it’s also simple to throw together. Place some fresh veggies or pita chips on the platter with the dip and you’ll look like you spent lots of time assembling this easy, delicious dish.

1 (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, cooked, cooled and squeezed dry

1 (16 oz.) container low-fat sour cream (plain Greek yogurt also works)

1 cup low-fat mayonnaise

1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts chopped & drained

3 green onions, chopped (optional)
