5 Easy Ways To Get Your Best Summer Skin…

Summer is here and the heat is on. If you’re like me, you want your skin to look it’s absolute best while showing off your new shorts, sundresses, and bikinis. Whether you’re trying to get a healthy tan… Wishing you could magically make cellulite disappear… Or want your legs to look tight, yet feel soft… I have a few EASY tips that will help you achieve your summer skin goals and (hopefully) boost your confidence.Screen Shot 2016-07-07 at 11.10.13 PM1. TANNING– Unfortunately not all of us were born with gorgeous golden skin, and even if you were blessed with Victoria’s Secret model skin… it is still important to use SPF regularly. Apply a cream, oil or spray that suits your skin type, and reapply throughout the day.

*BONUS: I’m currently obsessed with Sun Bum products. This sunscreen is light, smells amazing, and works great for using on your body while laying out or playing outdoor sports.

2. WATER– Drink up! Water is great for every aspect of our bodies, especially our skin. Make sure to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. It will help flush out toxins, prevent break-outs, and surveys have shown that drinking large amounts of water can also reduce the appearance of wrinkles AND cellulite. YES PLEASE!

3. SLEEP– “Beauty sleep” got it’s name for a reason. Getting the proper amount of rest helps skin look radiant and also helps the body maintain a healthy weight. Try your best to get anywhere from 6 – 9 hours per evening whenever possible.

4. MOISTURIZE- Make sure that moisturizing is a part of your daily routine. After showering gently pat your skin dry with a towel. While skin is still slightly damp apply a lotion that suits your skin type. Damp skin absorbs the moisture better than dry skin. Who doesn’t want their freshly shaved legs to feel like a babies’ bottom?!

5. Green Tea- Drinking 1-3 glasses of green tea daily can help increase energy, mental clarity, prevent cancer, and it’s a great addition to weight-loss efforts. Known for being a thermogenic, green tea has been proven to assist in the accelerated metabolism of fat cells and reduces the appearance of cellulite.

There you have it ladies! Make sure to get your precious beauty sleep, drink water every chance you get, moisturize your skin after showering, apply sunscreen daily (the older version of you will “thank you” in the future), and drink green tea when trying to lose weight and clear toxins from your body.
