DSC_1258Elegant fashion, entertaining, traveling in style, and demonstrating good manners are topics near and dear to my heart.

Whether it’s knowing how to get deodorant off a little black dress as your date is ringing the bell, how to arrange flowers you’ve picked from the garden to look like they’re from a ridiculously expensive flower shop (because most of us don’t regularly splurge at those), not to wear white shoes after Labor Day (no matter what the latest fashion trends are trying to sell us), or even something as simple as baking homemade chocolate chip cookies that will be a hit at any dinner party… I like to think there’s an easy answer for almost every situation.

There may be a few gentle bumps along the way, but I’ve learned to embrace the saying, “fake it till you make it”! The secret here is being confident while fudging what you don’t yet know. The more you believe in yourself, the more others will follow your ladylike lead.

My goal is to share everything I know about the lost art of manners, hostess etiquette, timeless fashion, baking, dating, marriage tips, and how to travel like you’re first class (even when you’re on an economy budget). I believe that everyone deserves to have it all, and I’m going to try my absolute best to give you the tools you need to live like a First Lady.

I hope to add a little bit of class to your everyday life.
